Emergency Vaccinations Needed for Furrytail Life

A deadly virus that is infectious to both domestic and wild rabbits has reached Arizona and is causing an epidemic. Known as Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2 (RHDV2) it damages the liver leading to failure, bleeding, and death. It is highly infectious and spreads in urine, feces, and respiratory secretions.

It is very stable and can also transfer on contaminated bedding, food and water. Insects, such as flies and mosquitoes, can even carry it and have been shown that it can survive on them for up to 9 days.

The good news is there is a vaccination and its on its way to Arizona. Help Furrytail Life to get their group vaccinated so they can stay safe, happy, and healthy from this disease.
