Hi, my name is Lexxi, (she/her.) I'm a trans woman living in Toronto in an abusive living situation with family where I’m not able to safely transition. My parents have decided that they no longer want me transitioning under their roof, and now, I'm being given three weeks to get out. I'd like to leave even sooner than because the stress of living in such an unsafe environment is getting very difficult to cope with! My partners and I have recently signed a lease on a house in Edmonton where I'll be safe and able to transition freely, and I've already gotten approval for a transfer at work, but my car has a lot of damage and isn't going to be able to make the trip. So, I need funds to transport myself, my things, and my car (to repair later) from here in Toronto to Edmonton as quickly as possible! Every little bit helps me get closer to getting out of here and somewhere I can be myself, and can breathe a little easier, and is so appreciated! I'm happy to share receipts if anyone needs to see where the is going.
