Emergency travel costs for my Dad's Funeral
Donation protected
On the 26th of August I lost my Dad, Glyn, in a hit and run accident. My Dad was someone I was really close to and was a big influence in my life. He showed me how important it is to never judge another person, which is a real testament to who he was as a person. He was a man with a big heart, who had spent most of his life helping with charities both big and small. He spent the last 10 years in a bike crew that him and his old army buddies created for charity events, Queens Regimental Riders Association. He spent a lot of his time doing what he could to help others. He always had the time of day for absolutely anyone, whether he had just met them or known them for years. He really was one of life's kindest soldiers.
I have been living in Ireland and now need to find a way back to the UK for the funeral. Whilst this is something I don't want to do, I don't have the ability to do it myself due to how expensive the costs are. My Dad meant a lot to me and this has been an extremely difficult time losing my biggest influence and being so far away. Any help you can offer will give me the chance to say goodbye to my Dad, so thank you in advance.
