Emergency Trauma Surgeries For Demir

On May 25th, my best friend and roommate Demir Beqaj slipped and fell 55 feet off our apartment complex roof after it had rained. He sustained several intense injuries including the loss of 25 teeth, a broken arm, a broken wrist, a fractured femur, a fractured pelvis, a broken eye socket, and a broken jaw. Demir was in the Intensive Care Unit for several days, undergoing rounds of surgeries and stayed in the hospital requiring physical therapy for weeks. 


Anyone who knows Demir will tell you that he is the most genuine, caring, and friendly individual one can meet. He brightens up any room he enters, and we hope to get him back on his feet as soon as possible. From a height of 55 feet he is truly blessed to be alive and he must have had more to do on this earth. 

Between the length of his hospital stay, extensive surgeries and the large expected cost of dental implant surgery for the 25 missing teeth, the total sum of his care is substantial.
