Emergency TNR to help save this growing feral cat colony!

Donation protected
For nearly 11 months, I’ve been caring for a feral cat colony of around 12 just outside of the Old Oaks neighborhood. Over time, I’ve been working to trap, neuter, and return (TNR) the females first, and some males too, with the help of another dedicated local rescuer who also rehomes the friendly ones.

So far, we’ve been able to get 7 of them TNR and vet care. However, we were finally able to make contact with the property owner where the feral cats reside. He is an elderly man with disabilities and he made us aware that the colony is much larger than we initially realized. He told us there are more cats living in his backyard. The “12” cats I was caring for? It’s actually closer to 20.

This news was overwhelming and heartbreaking. We’re now racing against time to prevent even more litters from being born. We’re doing everything we can to book as many TNR appointments as possible, wherever we can find them. Low cost TNR surgeries range anywhere from $25-$75 in price and we are using all of own money and resources for this endeavor. At this point, knowing how many more cats there are, we need to turn to our community for monetary support.

Below are some photos of the cats we’ve been able to get TNR for.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps cover spay/neuter costs, transportation, flea and tick prevention and important vaccinations. Thank you for helping us give these cats the care and safety they deserve!! Your support means everything to us!
