HI EVERYONE! The first $5k covered my rent for January, some medical debt, and a motor scooter for me to get to my college classes. I’ve raised the goal for my upcoming surgery. I have surgery scheduled for March 3 to save my jaw bone: I have several impacted teeth from not getting my wisdom teeth taken out years ago, and in combination with other issues they are causing my jaw bone to chisel down so I have to get a bone graft . That is best case scenerio- if I don’t get this procedure done soon, a bone graft will not be enough and I will need more costly and invasive work. The total amount needed is $4500 but I need $2,500 by March 3z I am grateful to have stable work again and have gotten transportation to help with making extra money, but medical procedures almost always come as a surprise. I’ve put off getting these corrective surgeries for years, but my doctors believe this is an immediate necessity and were kind enough to let me break up the procedures needed to be more affordable. But I do have to have the bulk of this money by March. Anything that can be donated- I will be so grateful.
