A big, gentle Doberman with a heart just as large, he has been Christina’s best friend and constant companion since the day she brought him home as a puppy. They’ve grown together, shared daily routines, and even practiced yoga side by side. For Christina, Pino is more than a pet… he is her safe space, her comfort, and her joy.

Right now, Pino’s life is in grave danger. While Christina is on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Italy, she entrusted Pino to the best doggy daycare she could find. Last night, she received the devastating call every pet parent dreads: Pino was struggling to breathe, and his stomach had flipped—a life-threatening emergency requiring immediate surgery.

Christina is thousands of miles away, powerless to hold her beloved dog during this critical moment. All she wants is for Pino to have the chance to survive this, so that when she returns, she can wrap him in her arms again. No family should face losing their pet in such a sudden and heartbreaking way, especially when there is a chance to save them.
