Help Nani Heal
Our sweet 13-year-old (almost 14!) Nani needs eye removal surgery, and we need your help to make it happen.
Nani came into our lives long before Figgy Farm was founded, but she is very much the heartbeat of everything we do here. She has been our protector, our nurturer, our steady, silent shadow through every step of our rescue journey.
She has laid next to sick animals as they healed, gently welcomed every new baby, and shown the ropes to each new family member.
The soul of this sanctuary lives in her.
Nani recently developed a severe eye issue related to nerve damage from a nasal fungal infection. Despite medication and constant care, her right eye has stopped producing tears and is now painful and unresponsive to treatment. Our vets have recommended surgical removal to prevent further suffering and give her comfort in her senior years.
We’re facing a heartbreaking reality: without this surgery, we’ll have no choice but to begin palliative care.
And we know in our hearts that she’s not ready to go.
We need to raise $1,800 as quickly as possible to schedule her surgery and give her the chance to live out her golden years in peace, without pain.
After spending over $8,000 on her care thus far, our emergency funds are depleted. This is the final surgery she needs to finally be pain free.
Even if our audience has come to know us for pigs, we want to be clear: every animal here is family, no matter when they arrived. Nani is part of Figgy Farm in every way that matters.
If you can donate even $5 or share her story, we’d be so grateful. Let's rally for the girl who’s always been there for us.
With love,
