I write to all of my friends, family and strangers with a heavy, broken heart. On June 26th, Kira celebrated her 3rd birthday. I rescued her when she was 9
months old. She is the most loving, sweet, precious dog I have ever met.
After a long road returning to the USA from Mexico four months into the pandemic. I tried my best to keep her safe until we could find a way out of Mexico.
Yesterday, July 3rd, Kira was violently kicked by my mother’s horse. I am fortunateshe is alive, but we are not sure if the leg can be saved, and I’m praying to Jesus they don’t need to amputate it.
Kira, at a minimum, suffers from at least 8 fractures in her rear, left leg. We are actively seeking the surgeon and location who can operate on Kira immediately.
I have been told by the doctor this entire process will be $15,000.
It’s always been difficult for me to ask forhelp. I pride myself being a strong, independent man. However, we have been through so much and are in need of help.
I understand these are financially hard times for many Americans and everyone around the world. So any contributions that can be made are truly, and whole heartedly appreciated.
Thank you, god bless you, and please pray for my little family of 3.
