Emergency surgery relief - Vaughn

On Tuesday, June 8th I started having pain in my abdominal area and 2 weeks before this I was diagnosed with a mass in my right ovary. They decided to wait to remove it and sent me home.
On Wednesday morning, the pain was enough that I could not take it anymore. I went to the ER in Winfield and, after a sonogram and call to Wesley, they decided it was twisting and it needed removed right away. I was sent via ambulance to Wesley in Wichita immediately. The doctor who did surgery on my left ovary (and it had to be removed) was in OR until that night so they would have me on IV meds until morning, when I was to have surgery. I had surgery Thursday morning.
Because the ovary could not be saved, and leaving just the uterus would cause more problems, PLUS they found endometriosis, they had to do a FULL hysterectomy.
My insurance pays 50% of everything after deductible and 50% of out-of-pocket but that still leaves all my co-pays, ambulance ride, hospital stay, etc - I roughly will have to pay $12,000 because my insurance covers the rest.
I have a small savings account but I also just quit my job to pursue my Doctorate degree and I was planning on getting extra money this summer, teaching summer school, but now that is out of the question as well.
I'm 30 years old. I have one son and he is adopted. I had fertility issues which led us to adoption but now it is confirmed I will not be able to have any children naturally. I will be on hormones for 20+ years.
I am seriously worried about paying for these bills because of this emergency, how much insurance doesn't cover, and how little my income is about to become starting in July. Any help is appreciated - please do not feel obligated. I have donated to several GoFundMe's in the past so I guess I'll try this.
My family is helping where they can but they can only do so much. Sorry this is awkward but I guess the worst is people can't help and that's okay.
