Hey everyone, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support so far. It’s been a rough few months since my emergency surgery on July 25th—my gallbladder ruptured due to a pecan-sized gallstone lodged in the neck, and it nearly took me out. I’m tough, though, and the docs saved my life. Now, the last step is getting this common bile duct stent removed on October 15th in Lubbock, Texas.
The problem? I’m in Dewey, Oklahoma, and I don’t have the money to make the trip. It’s about a 500-mile drive each way, and we’ll need two vehicles (one for me and support, the other for gear/family). We’re looking at roughly $220 for fuel, $120 for a basic hotel stay overnight (it’s an 8-hour drive, and I can’t risk exhaustion post-procedure), and $120 for simple meals on the road for two days. That’s around $460 total, but any extra would help with unexpected costs like tolls or snacks.
If you can spare a few bucks, it’ll get me to this crucial appointment and finally close this chapter. Please share if you can, and thanks for being my rock through this. Let’s finish strong! ❤️
