Opal is a senior Chihuahua mix rescued by Yogi’s House Rescue from the euthanasia list. Before rescue, she was hit by a car, leaving her with a permanent leg injury- she walks on three legs and sometimes uses wheels to get around.

We were told by the shelter Opal was already spayed, but that information was incorrect. Because she was not spayed, Opal developed pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that requires emergency surgery and hospitalization.

Opal is currently hospitalized and fighting for her life.

Our goal is $2,900 to cover her emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, and recovery care.

She survived a car accident. She survived the euthanasia list. Now she needs help surviving this.
