Hi all. This morning my brother's cat Moe was shot. He is the sweetest most loving cat I've ever met. He is only 3 years old. We do not know or understand yet what happened. My mother heard him crying from the backyard and came outside to find him collapsed. After rushing him to the vet and getting x-rays she was told that a bullet pierced his femur and is now lodged in his stomach. We don't know yet how much damage there is or what our options are, but the vet did mention that amputation and reconstructive surgery might be possible. We don't know how much it will cost but we want to do anything we can to try to save him.

Please help if you can. My family has already lost one beloved pet this year, a 10 year old french bulldog whose natural passing of old age was traumatic enough. Losing Moe now under these circumstances would be devastating.

Update: Moe is getting a CT scan to see how feasible the surgery is. For transparency I will list the costs below that we are trying to cover. And I'll update on his health as I can.
