Hey everyone,
Thank you so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to read Milkshake’s story and support her journey. It truly means more than I can express.
A little background about Milkshake and me—she came into my life as a very special gift after my liver transplant. From that moment on, she has been my constant companion, always by my side with her sweet, happy spirit. She has such a gentle and loving presence that she even helped children in our neighborhood overcome their fear of dogs, and inspired a few families to welcome dogs of their own.
Unfortunately, Milkshake has been facing serious health challenges since November 2025. After numerous tests, she was diagnosed with bladder stones and underwent surgery in January 2026. Thanks to an incredible veterinary team, the surgery was successful, and she bounced back beautifully—returning to her playful, bubbly, and affectionate self.
Heartbreakingly, at the end of March, her condition suddenly worsened. She stopped eating, became extremely lethargic, began vomiting, and developed severe symptoms that required immediate attention. After further testing—including blood work, X-rays, and an ultrasound. Milkshake was diagnosed with Pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterus that requires urgent emergency surgery. We are really worried that the fluid from the discharge will spread to other organs, and damage them as well because it is an open Pyometra.
This condition can become fatal very quickly if left untreated. Right now, I am doing everything I can to keep her stable while we prepare for surgery.
So far, I have covered over $5,000 in medical expenses for Milkshake’s tests, treatments, and medications. I’ve done this willingly and without hesitation—but I’ve reached a point where I truly need help to give her the care she urgently needs.
Making the decision to ask for support has not been easy, but Milkshake means everything to me. I cannot imagine losing her or having to make the heartbreaking decision to give her up because I didn't do everything I could.
Any funds raised will go directly toward her emergency surgery and ongoing medical care.
I understand that times are difficult for many, and there is absolutely no pressure. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would help more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, for caring, and for supporting Milkshake.
With love and gratitude,
Milkshake & Neen
