Hi, I’m Lena, and this is Glenn Coco, my cheeky, playful baby cat. He’s one and a half years old - a big, loving boy who adores chasing his brother and sister around the garden and curling up on his fluffy rug for evening snuggles.

Sadly, last Thursday, Glenn Coco was in a terrible accident. We don’t know exactly what happened, but he’s been left with serious injuries - a dislocated right hock (ankle) joint and damage to the cruciate ligaments in both back legs.

After a lot of heartbreaking discussions with the vet, we’ve decided that the best option for Glenn’s comfort and long-term happiness is to amputate his right hind leg and repair the cruciate ligament in his left. This will give him the best chance at a pain-free, active life - even if it’s on three legs.

As many pet parents know, emergency veterinary care in the UK is incredibly expensive, and sadly, there are no payment plans available. The costs have quickly become overwhelming.
