TREATMENT FUND FOR BABY MOSS
Donation protected
Today I received some heart-wrenching and devastating news from my good friend, Susie.
Susie and her husband Terry have enormous hearts - especially when it comes to animals - and they have lovingly decided to rescue sweet baby Moss, an eight month old basset hound, from an uncertain fate.
After what can only be described as a freak accident, Moss suffered a painful and severe ankle break. Without sufficient funds to pay for his urgent surgery, his owners contemplated alternative and difficult ways out of this devastating situation: putting him down or surrendering him.
Susie and her husband Terry knew they wanted to help so they stepped in and decided to be Moss' parents to ensure he gets the medical care he needs and life he deserves. At just eight months old, Moss deserves to feel loved and for his life to be valued at more than a specified dollar amount.
We all know that sometimes being a good, compassionate person, and animal lover, means incurring financial costs in the interest of doing the right thing by our furbabies. A small price to pay of course for those of us who love our animals and treat them like family.
So now, here we are. Moss has the family he deserves and is getting the medical attention he needs, but his parents are in financial crisis because they knew doing the right thing by him was most important.
Susie owns a small business and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she has had to shut its doors temporarily, so financially speaking, they are quite strained.
That's where we come in.
This awesome duo is facing astronomical surgical costs for sweet baby Moss, upwards of $7000.
That said, it would mean the world to Susie & Terry (and to Mr. Moss) if you could spare even the smallest donation to help pay for this emergency surgery!
Love, hugs, and wet dog kisses will be sent out virtually to those who find it in their hearts to share and donate .
Let's show our support for not only sweet baby Moss but for a VERY hard-working small business owner who has been severely impacted by the current pandemic.
Thank you all so much for your generosity, empathy, and support!
