Zoey needs your help! She’s a 9-year-old beautiful Great Dane who loves everyone she meets and is the sweetest soul out there! She got super sick overnight, and we had no idea what was wrong. We took her to our normal vet, and after some tests were run and scans were done, it turns out she has an open pyometra, and the infection is so bad her fever's at 105. The vet can’t do the surgery due to it being a Saturday and low staff. She needs emergency surgery due to her breed and age.. it’s a life or death matter! VEG is estimating between 5-7k, and we don’t have the funds. I’ve applied for CareCredit, Scratchpay, and have called over 30 vets asking for a payment plan. We have moved Zoey to VEG because time is of the essence. They are refusing to start the surgery without the down payment… and Zoey’s fever is just getting higher ,please pray for Zoey. God willing all goes well, the bill's going to have to be paid in order for her to be seen and get the surgery she needs to live.

UPDATE : She’s currently in surgery now. She’s in Astoria animal hospital. He agreed to do it now and hold her till I get all the funds for it

Hopefully everything goes well. There was a risk because of her age and breed with the anesthesia. But he thinks she’ll be okay
