Emergency Surgery for Rufus: Your Help Needed

Our name is Adriana & Richie, and Rufus is our 4-1/2 year old french bulldog. Rufus hasn’t been himself over the past two days. Although he was able to walk on his own the past 2 days, this morning (Jan. 12) around 9 a.m. he lost all feeling in his hind legs. The vet diagnosed him with a slipped disc pinching a nerve causing paralysis in his back legs. We were able to get him to the vet early enough for emergency surgery.

The surgery is very expensive, but Adriana didn’t hesitate to move forward with it. We’re asking for any donations to help cover the expenses of Rufus’s surgery. We hope to bring Rufus home later this week and are optimistic that he’ll be walking on his own. This is something we never expected to happen, and we never thought we’d be creating this page. We truly appreciate any help you can give and hope you can send Rufus lots of good vibes.
