Emergency Surgery for Plops

Most of you if not all know my niece Lili. She is the proud and loving puppy mommy to Plops (short for Dr. Plopodopoulos PhD in cuteness). Today he was rushed to the veterinary hospital clearly in distress. After numerous tests and scans it was concluded that he has a serious bowel obstruction and requires emergency, life saving surgery which will be happening early tomorrow morning. Just today’s tests and scans cost $2,100. The surgery was quoted to be anywhere between $8,000 and $12,000. Plops is only 1 1/2 years old and has many many years ahead to share with us his love and companionship but he will need the surgery for that to even be possible. So I am reaching out on behalf of Lili to sincerely ask those who can help her to please do. Every little bit helps Lili.

Lili is currently in Minnesota completing the first three months of six months of fieldwork at the Mayo Clinic after completing her Masters. All she does is study and work and has approximately five more months of fieldwork to complete. Being that she does not get paid for her fieldwork and has all her living expenses that she has to pay, this expense is overwhelming for her. She is a complete wreck as you can imagine and utterly heartbroken that Plops has to go through all of this.
