Paz is my 1-year-old kitty and the sweetest, most gentle boy I know. He recently seemed to have gotten an obstruction and ate a long thread he was not supposed to. Nothing's moving, and Paz is not eating and hardly drinking. His favorite words don't excite him anymore, and he's been weak, lethargic, and has lost a lot of weight from not eating for almost a week. He's going to need emergency surgery, and my family and I don't have the money to cover the funds.

We hate seeing Paz in such an uncomfortable state, but we are not ready to say goodbye. In the time I've known him, Paz has saved my life emotionally with his sweet and affectionate demeanor, and I really, really hope we'll be able to get him the help he needs.
