Hi everyone,

I never thought I'd be in a position to ask for help like this, but my beloved dog Bronx is in urgent need of emergency surgery after swallowing part of a Kong toy that caused a dangerous obstruction.

Bronx is more than just a pet, he is my best friend, my shadow, and the heart of my home. Always playful and full of energy, he was playing with a Kong toy when a piece broke off and became lodged in his intestines. We rushed to the vet after he began vomiting and refusing food, and they quickly confirmed that surgery is the only option to save his life.

The estimate for the procedure, post-op care, and hospitalization is more than I can afford right now, and time is critical. I’m doing everything I can to cover the cost, but I’m reaching out to this community for support during this heartbreaking and unexpected situation.

update: Bronx made it through surgery! He finally had some food and went to the bathroom. He still has a long recovery and hopefully we can bring him home soon .
