Hi, my name is Kaitlin.

My 7-month-old kitten, Raya, suddenly became very sick Sunday morning (April 12/26) and had to be rushed to the emergency vet hospital. After hours of waiting and tests, she was diagnosed with a full intestinal blockage and needed emergency surgery to survive.

Everything happened so fast. I paid with everything I had a large deposit upfront to make sure she could get the surgery in time. Thankfully, she made it through and was discharged from the hospital April 14th @ 12midnight and is now home recovering.

The total cost of her emergency care has come to over $8,000. I set the goal at $10,000 to help cover the remaining balance, as well as follow-up care, medications, and support during her recovery.
