Emergency surgery for Molly and Bryson’s pup Reux
Donation protected
Molly and Bryson recently adopted the most beautiful little vizsla pup, Reux (pronounced ROO). Yesterday, while playing, Reux gave a giant yelp and then wouldn’t walk on her front foot. There was immediate swelling and they were unsure if it was a bite, so they took her to the emergency vet. She was kept overnight, and the vet thinks it might be one of a few things: Osteochondroma/osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) or cartilage tear or other soft tissue injury or something neurological like brachial plexus injury. Vet is thinking more orthopedic right now. The orthopedic differentials would all likely require surgery.
Molly has been just a wonderful friend to so many of us, and if any of you have owned and loved a dog, you can imagine that this has been super scary for her. I know we can’t raise millions of dollars, but I’d love it if we could all pitch in a little to offset what I know will be a pretty huge vet bill. Let’s all rally together for Molls and Bryson! Honestly any amount would just show that we love them and are thinking of them. Also, prayers for sweet Reux would be appreciated.
