Hi my name is Rachel, my beautiful girl Millie, aged 8 has just been diagnosed with pyometra (a serious womb infection) and needs urgent surgery to save her life. I unfortunately don’t have insurance for her,I had to cancel it recently due to struggling to make ends meet, I’m on my own with my 16 year old daughter. I work full time but I just can’t afford the £2,500 the vet has quoted me for the surgery. I have paid £300 today for the ultrasound and pain relief for her.

my daughter and I are heartbroken. And her 2 doggy sisters are lost without her. She is such a loving girl who loves playing and is full of schnauzer personality. Any help, even a couple of pounds could help, and I will be forever grateful for.

Thank you to each and everyone of you for your donations, I am overwhelmed at the kindness you have shown. Millie will now be going for surgery this morning. Please keep your fingers crossed for her and I hope to god she pulls through.

just been to see Millie (Tues night) she needs to stay in at the vet hospital as she’s not eating yet and needs more fluids, but we were so happy to see her, vets bills are looking more like £3000 now but she is coming through and I’m a grateful to you all.

She’s having to stay in another night but she seemed ok still whimpering. We took her some chicken up and she ate a little bit but that was the first time she’s eaten.
