Emergency Surgery for Indï our beloved Aussie

Aloha kakou,

 

We are humbling asking our community and all generous supporters for assistance in covering the cost of emergency ACL surgery for our aussie Indï, a beloved family member, a best friend and “nanny” of our son Kupuohi 

 

Indï is in urgent need of ACL surgery, a common surgery for her breed with a high success rate of recovery. Without surgery Indï will continue to lose mobility, muscle and need to have her hind leg removed. Indï is only three years old and has many long, fulfilling and active years ahead of her - continuing to help Kupuohi, walk, run and corralling him as he grows like a good shepherd does. She also takes a lot of pride in protecting our homestead and guarding our garden beds from our free range chickens. The love, support, service and friendship she’s given our ʻohana in our three years together, even currently with her injury is profound - and we are doing everything we can within our power to get her the life altering surgery she needs so she can have a many healthy and happy years ahead with full mobility to walk, run, jump, chase and roam free with her best friend Kupuohi.

 

Due to its urgency, and cost we aren’t able to save up enough money in time for her surgery needed in the coming weeks. Indï deserves the utmost care which we unfortunately cannot provide financially in such a short period of time. Any sort of help, even a fraction of it would be appreciated beyond explanation by our whole family and everyone who knows and loves Indï - she is such a sweet, caring, silly and loving dog; she is a true blue friend through and through and everyone who meets her falls absolutely in love.

 

We cannot fathom life without Indï living to her full potential or losing any time with her or quality of life due to something we could have prevented - not just because she’s our dog, but because she is a family member, our sons best friend and our furever companion that we love more than words can truly say.
