Hello friends! As you know, Greycie is the love of my life and came into my life six months after Sheba left us for the afterlife. I found Greycie on the Friends of Retired Greyhounds website, and it was love at first sight. She has blessed my life and home for the last five years. Greycie came to us with a blind left eye that required medication to keep the pressure down. She has navigated life with no issue until recently.
Our recent visit to the vet revealed that the pressure in her eye is at a dangerous level that in “human terms” is like a migraine. Because of this, the vet has advised that she have surgery immediately, and surgery is tomorrow at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver.
With that said, I am faced with a large veterinary bill and would appreciate your help with this. My goal is to reach upwards of $3,500.00 for the surgery and follow-up care. As you all know, the cost of care for our fur babies is outrageous, yet something we do to honor our commitment to them for their entire life.
Your prayers and well wishes are greatly appreciated. If you feel so inclined to donate money, please click on the link to donate.
I will send you daily updates on Greycie's recovery progress.
Thank you in advance for your support!
With love, Margaret
