Emergency Surgery for Charley: Help Needed

Hello all!

As you all know that Charley is my pride, joy, heart and soul and my bestest friend in the whole wide world.

In June, Charley developed a mass in her neck. After taking her to the vet, the doctors said the mass was benign and would go away after antibiotics and time. The mass shrunk in size, but never fully went away. This morning I noticed the mass had grown and by the early afternoon, it ruptured. I immediately rushed her to the vet hospital. Unfortunately, Charley has to have an emergency surgery to remove a foreign object embedded into her neck.

Charley is my world and everyone who meets her is instantly in love. She makes friends everywhere she goes and I can’t imagine what my life would look like without her.

My pet insurance for her doesn’t go into full effect until October 1st, and even if her surgery happened after October 1st, insurance wouldn’t cover the scans or surgery since the lump in her neck is now considered a preexisting condition from June. This means I will be paying out of pocket. With the CT scan and surgery, I don’t know quite yet how expensive everything is going to be, but I would appreciate any support you feel you can give.❤️
