Hi guys. My friend Kayla and I are reaching out to ask for your help for someone who gives everything she has—our good friend Paola, a full-time night shift nurse—and her sweet dog, Bru.

Less than a year ago, she rescued Bru, a 3-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She brought him into her life hoping for a little companionship and comfort on the hard days. Bru has become her whole world—her reason to smile after 12-hour night shifts, her constant source of comfort, and her emotional support even tho sometimes she has to be his support.

Now, Bru needs emergency surgery for a blockage. This unexpected situation as we all know comes with a price , and as a nurse, she’s used to being the one who helps others—never the one asking for it.
