Emergency Surgery for Apollo: Your Help Counts

Hello all, friends, family, peers. My name is Natalia Dos Santos, with a heavy heart i’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes so get help from the community to help fund this emergency surgery for my cat.

Apollo, who is 4 years old, is the light of our household of 4. We adopted apollo in 2021 during some of the hardest times of our lives; family losses, health problems, and especially in need of a lifelong companion. My mother, Lucy, was the most opposed to the idea of a pet, let alone a cat, but her life flipped upside down upon falling in love with his silly personality and loving form of affection. As she turned into his #1 fan and caretaker while i was away at school, she developed a strong emotional connection to him, and is especially deeply affected by these news.

Apollo is outgoing, social, silly, curious, and never fails to put a smile on our faces. He’s become our greeter when we come home, and always waits at the door for runs and kisses. But not anymore.

He was diagnosed with a hair blockage in his intestine which is stopping his ability to eat, digest, and be the happy guy he always was. This surgery will bring him back home to our family, and bring back the joy of all our lives. i know this may seem like “just a cat” to some, but he was there to absorb tears, watch successes, and bring laughter to the dullest moments. Your contribution to help out with his surgery and post op recovery would mean the world to our family, and especially to him and his recovery. To those that know me know my passion and love for cats, especially my own, and if creating this GoFundMe means i could potentially help my parents with heavy Vet costs and bring our baby back home then i’ll do whatever it takes.
