Hello everyone!  My babygirl, Maureen, unfortunately had a very scary accident on 11/1/2020.  My roommate had their window open a bit too far, and she fell out onto the neighbors terrace 3 floors below.  In the process she ruptured her bladder and went into kidney failure from the ruptured bladder.  She has been in the hospital for 2 days now on fluid treatment.  She has also received multiple x-rays, 2 ultrasounds (to confirm the cause), had multiple catheters switched in and out, had fluid drained out of her chest, and had an echocardiogram done, as the vet thought she may have been at risk of heart failure (she has had a murmur since she was a kitten, and they were concerned about the fluid in her chest).  I am doing everything I can to pull her through this, as she is only 1 year and 6 months old (her birthday is 4/17/20).  However, I am struggling financially, as I am a graduate student and have only very recently returned to work due to the virus.  So far, I have paid around $2,300.00 out of pocket.  With the given estimate from the vet, I will owe around another $5,100.00 out of pocket.  I have also been approved for $5,600.00 in credit, which I will have only 6 months to pay back.  All funds raised in this campaign will go directly into these payments.  Maureen is truly my baby, and I can't lose her this young.  She has so much life left to live and I want to do everything to preserve it.  Thank you so much for your consideration and help!
