Inuujunga. Ikajuqtauhuaqturut. Tuutalik is my name and I don't know how else to help my son-in-law, but helping offset an unexpected medical expense.
He is living in Ottawa and is not Canadian.
Being Canadian means that you can have access to private and public health insurance. Unfortunately, due to his Citizenship, Othmane Hamdaoui cannot access such. He cannot be covered under refugee or landed immigrant status as he was previously an international student and took short term employment. Life changed drastically during his studies and had to take a turn.
During an private independent job, he ended heavily injuring himself. Diagnosis- multiple shattered bones resulting in a metal plate. He seeked medical care at the local hospital. Thus creating a large medical bill not covered by insurance.
On top of living expenses, this additional medical expense has made what already is stressful event, a much more exhausting one.
To build financial relief, I am asking for your kindness.
Alethea, my daughter is his current support. I have seen her support many others selflessly and I kindly ask you to copy her acts of support by donating.
This relief will also assist in living expenses otherwise offset from his short term employment. For the short period, Othmane will not be able to work while he recovers.
Should you want, an emt is also an option as prescription medical expense is required as soon as possible.
Estimated total medical expense placed by the hospital is 15000
