Hello family, friends, and kind hearted souls. I am reaching out to you in a time of crisis as our cat Thyme has ingested a sewing needle that requires emergency surgery. At the time of writing this, he is still in surgery and we have zero idea of the damage the needle caused.

Thyme is a lovable, goofy orange cat with an affinity for playing fetch with his favorite mouse toy. He loves sitting on his dad’s lap at his desk and watching the fish tank. We’ve had him his entire life, the cat distribution system gave him to us when he was just a tiny little kitten. We never imagined we’d be here, waiting to hear news on how an emergency surgery went. He has two siblings at home who are desperately missing him, as well as both of his humans.

The emergency surgery is going to cost upwards of $5,000. This is beyond what the two of us can manage on our own, and we’re humbly asking for your support. Update: Thyme is now out of surgery!! He is doing well, he’s had no complications and should be able to come home tomorrow!! We’re looking forward to seeing him. Thank you to all who have donated so far, every little bit helps tremendously.
