Emergency surgery and medical fees for Buster

Despite his age, Buster has remained a shining example of health and vitality, always ready to play, explore, and shower us with his unconditional love. However, this past weekend, our world was turned upside down when Buster started showing signs of being sick. Worried and concerned, I rushed him to the emergency vet, where they made a shocking discovery.

Today we decided to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, which will then be sent off for biopsy. The mass found inside Buster's body was growing quickly, and the situation is urgent. The vet suspects it could be the worst-case scenario: hemangiosarcoma. This is a potentially life-threatening condition that requires immediate surgical intervention to remove the mass. The cost of the surgery and the necessary medical procedures is estimated to be close to $17,000, including the emergency visit over the weekend.

Our veterinarian team has warned us that if the mass is not removed, it could lead to a rupture, resulting in severe internal bleeding. This puts Buster's life at risk, and it breaks my heart to think that he could be in severe pain and could pass at any day.
