Hi, my name is James, and I am fundraising to help save the life of our beautiful angel, Coco.
Coco is five years old and is the most affectionate, loving, and well-behaved snowshoe cat with the purest heart. She was not originally ours; she was abandoned as a kitten by her previous owner before being rescued and subsequently adopted by us when she was one year old.
Last year, we received unfortunate news that Coco developed a malignant tumor on her left mammary chain. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue. However, the cancer quickly resurfaced, spreading across her entire mammary chain and chest area.
We wanted to ensure Coco was receiving the best possible care, and so we switched animal hospitals and were informed she would need an emergency radical bilateral mastectomy, an extremely invasive surgery, on top of a few rounds of chemotherapy. The estimated cost of the treatment is $9,110.
Her oncologist and team of expert surgeons are extremely confident that the surgery is the ideal route to take, as she is still so young and otherwise healthy.
I have recently graduated from college and am working a temporary job; like many temp workers, I am not making a lot of money. And right now, things are especially tight with student loans on the horizon and bills to pay.
Coco is a sweet, kind, trusting little soul who doesn't understand what's happening to her. She has been so brave and resilient throughout this entire process, and I want so badly to give her the care she deserves and needs.
If you can donate anything, even just a few dollars, it would mean the world to us. And if you are not able to donate, sharing this page is just as appreciated.
Thank you so much for reading Coco's story and sending her love. We are all incredibly grateful for your support.
All the love,
James & Coco
