Emergency Support: Maui Families Impacted by Fire
Native Hawaiian Philanthropy has been approached by community organizations and members to establish a fundraiser for Maui families impacted by the devastating wildfires on Maui on August 8th and 9th. We are setting up a gofundme to help provide food, toiletries and support services to those that have lost everything in the fires.
We will also provide funds to partner nonprofits to help with additional support services. Please share to help those recovering from the fast moving fires in Upcountry Maui and Lahaina.
I am Kuʻuleinani Maunupau, President of Native Hawaiian Philanthropy (NHP), dba Na Mahiʻai o Keanae (The Farmers of Keanae). Our nonprofit provides resources and support to native Hawaiian communities in Keanae, Maui and State-wide.
(On July 21, 2023 the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs approved the name change from Maui Mixer to Native Hawaiian Philanthropy. We are working hard to have gofundme.com and paypal.com to change the names. Please be patient with us.)
