Appreciation Fund for New Horizons Plymouth Peony

Dear fellow families of New Horizon Academy Plymouth 55 & Peony Lane Location,
Several parents and I have been talking about how we can support our cherished teachers and staff at New Horizon Academy Plymouth 55 & Peony Lane location as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put a damper on our routines, work environment and hours, and adds new stresses. I know many of us are searching for ways to support our community during this unprecedented time, and the amazing women and men who care for our children are close to our hearts.
While New Horizon Academy Plymouth 55 & Peony Lane location remains open, enrollment has been significantly impacted. Many enrollment decisions are being made due to the Minnesota school closings made effective by Governor Walz on Sunday. This means that much of our child care teachers and staff now have flexible schedules along with hour changes. This will likely lead to significant financial hardships for some of our cherished child care teachers and staff.
I would like to invite you to consider contributing to an appreciation fund to support our beloved child care teachers and staff as they are the trusted bond that guide and nurture our children while we are away.
I have taken the initiative to create a GoFundMe page as an opportunity for us to show our appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff, as they may need a little pick me up in this “new” world. This is one small way we can show our appreciation, thankfulness and truly honor a profession – one that maybe many of us would never be able to do.
The funds will be evenly gifted to each of the staff members that work at New Horizon Academy Plymouth 55 & Peony Lane location. The amount of each gift will solely depend on the amount of funds we earn together.
There is NO SET DONATION and we DO NOT want you to donate if it means it would be a burden on you or family during this challenging new time. If donating financially is not in your means, please feel free to write a note or letter for our childcare teachers and staff as they would love to hear your appreciation too!
We also want to keep this appreciation support GoFundMe page as quiet and anonymous if it all possible. This GoFundMe page is something unique and special to our New Horizon Academy Plymouth 55 & Peony Lane location and reflects how amazing we think our teachers and staff are!
