The Cambodian Living Art and Culture of NSW is raising urgent funds to support Wat Prast Srah Kandal Khchas Monastery, located in Khchas Village, Bosbouv Commune, Preah Netrepreah District, Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia.
As tensions escalate along the Cambodian-Thai border, civilians are being forced to flee their homes in search of safety. Many have sought refuge at this monastery, which has long served as a vital support hub for the local community. In addition to housing village residents and orphans, it is now providing emergency shelter and care to families displaced by the current conflict.
The monastery is under increasing strain to provide basic necessities such as food, clothing, clean water, utilities, and transportation for those fleeing the violence. With limited resources and rising demand, urgent financial support is required to ensure the temple can continue to offer critical aid during this humanitarian crisis.
All donations will go directly toward sustaining the monastery’s efforts on the ground. Your contribution will have a direct and immediate impact on the lives of those affected.
