My name is Amaris, and I am raising funds to help a close friend of mine, Vlad, and his family in Ukraine as they face ongoing power outages and repeated damage to their home.

Their electricity is frequently shut off for long periods of time, making it difficult to stay connected, keep lights on, and meet basic daily needs. In addition, their family home has been damaged multiple times. Most recently, windows were shattered and belongings were destroyed, adding yet another layer of loss.

Funds raised will be used for personal emergency assistance, including temporary housing support, emergency power access, clothing, food, and other urgent necessities

Because Ukraine is not a supported GoFundMe country, the full amount raised will be received by me in the United States and transferred directly to him via Western Union so he can address the most immediate needs locally.

No funds will be used for military, political, or governmental purposes.
