Hello my name is Megan Visser a long standing friend of Shem and Rael.

If you know Shem and Rael, you know that they are the most generous, kind hearted people. They have welcomed me and my family into their village many times, as well as countless groups representing Heartfelt Hope over the last 15 years.

What’s happened?

A week ago Shem, Rael and a lot of their family members (13 total) were in a tragic ute accident on the island of Tanna, Vanuatu. The car lost control on a winding, dangerous road and many of those that were sitting in the tub of the ute were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled multiple times. All of those involved in the accident were flown from the island to Port Vila for further medical treatment and sadly one of their grandchildren died. There are 2 people still in intensive care and Rael has a broken hip and possible pelvis fracture.

How We Can Help:

Pray: Your prayers are powerful. Let’s lift Shem, Rael and their entire family up in prayer and declare healing over those who have been injured in this tragic accident. Let’s lift up Eddie’s family in prayer as they grieve the loss of their dear son.
