In the early hours of Thursday, August 21st, a massive fire broke out in the Canal area of San Rafael.

Our dear Tania — who has cared for so many of our children with love, respect, and dedication — lost her home and all of her belongings in this devastating fire. Miraculously, she is physically safe, but she is now left to start over with nothing.

Even in the midst of this loss, Tania came to work that very day, bringing her usual joy and commitment to our little ones. That speaks volumes about her heart and strength.

Right now, Tania needs our help. With no safety net to fall back on, community support is critical as she begins the long process of rebuilding her life. She has nothing — every contribution will help her secure housing, food, clothing, and the essentials she needs to create a stable foundation again.

We are starting with a goal of $5,000 to provide immediate support and help her begin the process of rebuilding. As her long-term needs become clearer, we can adjust this goal to continue standing beside her.
