As-Salamu Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

I am posting this on behalf of the family of Sheikh Jalal Abualrub.

Sheikh Jalal recently was found to have major heart blockage on the 12th of June, 2023, and had emergency open heart surgery on the 13th of June, 2023, the next day.

He had to have a triple bypass for his heart. While the hospital expenses are paid for, the Sheikh will remain in recuperation without many movements at home for a minimum of one month to avoid any internal issues, and then go on from there to continue recuperating, including 36 sessions of physical therapy, and routine visits to the doctor.

After the Sheikh is released from the hospital, he will require a lot of care and attention by his family, who are currently in a very difficult financial situation. After all that, 3 to 6 months after his surgery yesterday, the Sheikh will be having surgery on his back to avoid losing his right leg, in sha Allah, only to need even more at home care.
