Hi everyone,
I am reaching out to our community of family and friends to ask for help for my 21-year-old daughter, Jordan.
Recently, our world was turned upside down. At 27 weeks pregnant, Jordan began experiencing pain; after testing at her OB-GYN, she was rushed to the hospital in preterm labor. The medical team worked tirelessly for a week to stop the labor, administering steroids for the baby’s lungs and medications to stabilize them both.
While we are incredibly grateful that the baby is still tucked away safely for now, the situation remains critical. Jordan is now 31 weeks along, but because of the high risk of the baby being born too early, doctors have placed her on strict, mandatory bedrest/activity restriction. Following this restriction for the remainder of her pregnancy was the only condition under which they allowed her to return home.
This has created a devastating financial crisis. Jordan is an independent, hardworking young woman who lives on her own and manages all her bills. She had recently started a new job, but due to the medical necessity of bedrest, she is no longer able to work per her doctor. While she hopes to return to her position once she and the baby are healthy, she currently has zero income to cover her basic living expenses.
I am doing everything I can to support her, but as I manage my own household, the weight of two sets of bills is more than I can carry alone.
I am raising funds to ensure Jordan can focus on one thing: keeping this precious baby safe until full term. Your donations will go directly toward:
• Rent and Housing so she doesn't lose her home while on restrictions.
• Medical Transportation for gas to get her back and forth to several high-risk appointments weekly.
• Groceries and Essential Supplies.
No amount is too small. If you aren't able to donate, please consider sharing this link and keeping Jordan and the baby in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of our 'village' during this scary and uncertain time.
With gratitude,
Nichole (Jordan’s mom)
