Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Community,

On January 28th and 29th, 2026, the Center of Portugal was hit by the devastating force of Storm Kristin. While many of us watched the news from a distance, the reality hit home for two our team members living in Leiria.

The storm brought unprecedented hurricane-force winds and destruction to the region, and unfortunately, some of our own have been deeply affected. We have been informed that two of our dear colleagues have suffered severe damage to their homes. From structural failures to roof damage caused by the extreme winds, their primary places of safety have been compromised.

Why we are raising funds:

We are a team that looks out for one another. While insurance and government aid may take time to process, the needs of our colleagues are immediate. We are starting this GoFundMe to provide direct financial support to our teammates to help them with:

Emergency repairs to secure their homes against further weather damage.

Temporary housing costs if their homes are currently uninhabitable.

Replacement of essential items lost or damaged during the storm.
