I’m reaching out because my family has hit a point where we can no longer manage on our own. My husband, Adam, is currently in the ICU facing a serious medical battle. As many of you know, this has been an incredibly difficult time, and with Adam unable to work, the financial strain has become overwhelming. As a paramedic and through our animal rescue work, Adam has spent his life helping people and animals in their darkest hours; now, he is the one in need of a helping hand.

To make matters even harder, our beloved cat has also fallen dangerously ill. Our usual affordable vet is unable to provide the care needed, leaving us with unexpected and mounting emergency veterinary costs.

Between Adam’s medical situation, our daily living expenses, and now these urgent vet bills, the weight of it all is more than I can carry alone. I am doing everything I can to stay strong for Adam and our pet, but we truly need a helping hand to get through this storm.

• Anticipated ICU & Medical Expenses: Adam is still in the hospital, so while we haven’t received the final bills yet, we know they will be astronomical even with insurance. These funds will allow us to address those costs the moment they arrive.

• Basic Living Expenses: Covering the gap while neither Adam nor I can work.

• Emergency Vet Care: Ensuring our cat gets the life-saving treatment they need so Adam has his best friend to come home to.
