A loved one very close to me was recently the victim of an extremely violent and targeted assault in Melbourne. What was supposed to be a simple meeting turned into a horrifying ambush. When he arrived at the location, several individuals suddenly appeared and attacked him. He was assaulted with 3 machetes and beaten by multiple people, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.
Both of his hands were severely damaged, his thumbs were almost completely separated, and he suffered deep cuts to his back and leg, along with numerous bruises and trauma across his body. In addition, he sustained other injuries, including a broken tooth and damaged dental bridges. Despite the pain and blood loss, he somehow managed to drive for over an hour to reach the hospital, where he was immediately taken into urgent care.
He spent several weeks hospitalized, undergoing surgeries, treatments, and facing both physical and psychological trauma. He is now in a long recovery process that requires medical care, rehabilitation, and emotional support.
Unfortunately, he cannot return to work yet. His profession relies entirely on the use of his hands, and with his injuries, he is currently unable to earn an income. At the same time, he must still cover essential living costs, medical bills, and ongoing treatment.
This fundraiser aims to help him with:
• medical bills and rehabilitation
• essential living expenses while he cannot work
• transportation, treatments, and follow-up care
• easing the enormous financial stress caused by this traumatic event
The photos included are only partially representative of his suffering and have been blurred due to the extreme nature of the injuries. They do not capture the full extent of the trauma he endured.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a real difference in helping him rebuild stability and focus on healing.
If you cannot donate, sharing the campaign is already a huge support.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and solidarity. ❤️
