Hello everyone. This is a very difficult topic for me to talk about. I’m not one to bring my problems to social media or any platform for that matter, but my living situation was very chaotic and hostile. I was living in an emotionally unsafe and physically abusive environment, and am now homeless. The aggressor said he would continue to lay hands on me if I was in his way and in the house; things have since escalated and i’m in urgent need of support. I’ve thought about going to the police or reaching out to other sources in the past, but I fear this made the situation worse and I was forced to leave my home. As difficult as it is, it’s imperative for me to find stability. I am safe now, but displaced. I’m embarrassed to even be sharing this at all, because I genuinely don’t want people to know what I’m going through, but there’s beauty in community, and I know that my life will get better. My goal is $2,000. I’m also in the process of selling my car and will use that money to move to Brooklyn, NY as well. Again, this is a very touchy subject for me. I feel very exposed and vulnerable, but I’m finally realizing that my living situation is abnormal and physical violence is never okay. Any donations are welcome. I genuinely appreciate all of you.
