Hi, my name is Aysha, and I am writing this on behalf of my sister and my nieces.

I never imagined I would have to create something like this.

On January 17, 2026, my family’s world was shattered. My sister discovered evidence that her two-year-old daughter had been harmed by someone she trusted and had been in a relationship with. She immediately contacted law enforcement. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and DPS responded, and the individual was arrested and charged with felony offenses involving a minor. An active investigation is ongoing, and there may be additional victims.

My sister is a single mother of two young daughters. In a matter of moments, her sense of safety, trust, and normalcy was taken from her. She is now facing unimaginable trauma while doing everything in her power to protect her children and begin the long process of healing.

She did nothing wrong.

Like so many parents, she trusted someone she loved. She stepped away briefly, believing her child was safe. No parent ever expects something like this to happen, and no parent should have to carry this kind of pain.

Right now, my sister needs help to:

• Secure safe housing and relocate

• Access trauma-informed therapy for herself and her children

• Cover legal, medical, and living expenses while she stabilizes

• Take time away from work to care for and protect her daughters

Every part of her life has been turned upside down, and she should not have to navigate this alone.
