Hi everyone,

Whether it be coworkers, friends, family or complete strangers, i’m reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

Recently, my car was stolen — my only way to get to and from work. After a long and stressful ordeal, I was able to recover it, but only after paying over $3,000 in fees. That wiped out all of my savings.

To make matters worse, I lost my job because I had to take time off unexpectedly to deal with the situation. Despite explaining my circumstances, I wasn’t given the time I needed, nor the compassion and was let go. Now I’m facing bills and expenses with no steady income, and I’m doing everything I can to find work and stay afloat. When I got caught up with my bills I was also going to apply to renew my CST so that I would be current and have more access and leverage in jobs. But that’s going to be kind of hard to do now.

I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but I’m trying to stay hopeful and do everything I can to get back on my feet.

I’m asking for $3,000+ to help cover my rent, bills, and basic expenses and help pay to renew my Surgical Tech certification so that I can apply for certified positions. Every donation, no matter how small, helps more than you know. If you’re unable to give, a share would mean the world.

To all my previous coworkers it was a pleasure working with each and every one of you and I genuinely miss you guys so much and I’m so sad I didn’t get to say goodbye. I love you guys and you are some of the best people I’ve ever had the opportunity of working with. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate you more than words can say.
