I am organizing this fundraiser to support the homeless and at-risk youth in Oceanside, California. Over the past year, we have seen a heartbreaking rise in teenagers who have been thrown out of their homes simply for choosing to live authentically. Many of these vulnerable girls and boys are now homeless, and they are afraid to turn to the foster system because of the rampant abuse they have witnessed or experienced. This leaves them with nowhere else to go, and it is up to our community to step in and provide the support they desperately need.

I do this work because it is necessary, and because I believe every young person deserves safety, dignity, and hope. Our storage bins are currently empty, and we urgently need 100 emergency tents and 100 sleeping bags to help these teens and others in our homeless community. In addition, socks, clothing, and food are always in high demand. Every dollar raised will go directly to purchasing these essentials for the LGBTQIA center and the homeless community around Apple Street in Oceanside. We serve Oceanside only, and your support will have a direct impact on the lives of those who need it most.
