Emergency Supplies & Groceries for Elderly

We are all trying our best to navigate through these uncharted times as we deal with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. We all know this virus is targeting our most vulnerable population, our elders. These are our language carriers, our storytellers, our knowledge keepers and in many cases the main caretakers of their families and granchildren. We believe that they should not have to worry about supplies and food at this time. They should not be forced to go out of their homes and risk exposure either, so we are setting up this fund for them. We have a team of people who are willing to take on this role for the elders that may need assistance. We will be using these funds to purchase necessities and delivering them to the elders in need in our community. We will be taking all necessary precautions to sanitize all supplies and practice social distancing during deliveries and purchase of items.  If you have the means we are asking that you donate to this cause, we will post updates on Facebook of those elders who have recieved supplies and food from these funds. Please know that this is done out of love for our elderly and in hopes of making their life a little less stressful in these unfortunate times.  Thank you so much for your time and donation.  This is being done by a group of Shoshone-Bannock Tribal members on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
